Scans of various prop money

We make these for motion picture use only. We only sell them to local 44 prop masters. Up close there isn't a single detail that matches a real bill. There is no reference to the US anywhere on the note (we don't even use the word dollar,) nor are any images of presidents of political figures used (they're all original images.) Also, when compared to a real bill they are actually larger.

They are strictly designed to give the illusion from afar, but once you see them up close, they are immediately recognizable as fake. The colors are also different compared to the real thing - everything from the text, to the background colors.

Not exactly scans, but here are some of my versions of prop money.

enjoy.

Great work EVERYONE!! I am seeing things I've never seen!! PropDoc, do those new $100's have a reverse? I look forward to more of your posts everyone!! Kind regards, Jeremy

Great work as always Thomas, just a quick question. Where are the Asian looking bills from (Blade Runner?).(y)thumbsup:)

Yellowjacket, you did correctly ID my two bills in that thread. :)

And BTW, thanks for the awesome new TVIN and ARG! TVIN 2.0 looks especially canonical :)

Very nice.

So where would I obtain the "future" prop money from Back To The Future 2? I have always been very interested in these notes. To add to my curiosity, is there downloadable versions anywhere? Kind regards, Jeremy

because these are actual props that have cost money its not impossible but unlikely that someone will scan them, ive searched for these myself and had no luck at all. the biff note has been posted here in a thread already somewhere though.

Hi,
Is there any way to have a sample of the money they use in BTTF I to III?
I mean a bill from the western time, one from the '85 era then from the future time ?
One faced would be great for exposure in a frame.

My latest attempt at a prop note. Although the portrait looks close its quite different close up :)
Its drawn totally from scratch,* has pixelation and all the wording has been changed from the original.

*(Apart from the portrait, its very old & in the public domain)

One of the more noteworthy (no intentional pun meant) legal tenders presented in the TV series Fringe was Dr. Martin Luther King appearing on the alt-universe twenty dollar bills, referred to as 'juniors'.

Does anyone have a scan of the back of the notes used in Pluto Nash? Also I never saw the episode of Fringe with these $20 notes. However someone did a great job on them. It looks like there was a coin also made if you look at the 2nd scan. I wasn't aware of any prop coins other than the Two-Face coin. Incredible.
