Sarge's ANH helmet owners....attaching Thorsoli lenses??

I'm about to put my lenses in and I am assuming they fit in from behind, but the fit isn't real tight and seem too recessed.

Am I suppose to cut them apart and attach them on the front side like the Classic Action Helmet?

The eyes are pretty deeply set, are your lenses fitting well otherwise? I'd just trim them to where there's about an 1/8" border and hot glue them in from behind.

I did not cut mine, just hot glued them.

Thanks guys. I'll work with them a little more.

I just repainted it with black engine enamel as the base and it came out great! Nice gloss, but not glossy enough. Still has the organic, rushed in the prop room look.

Again, nice job Sarge. It is the best valued and best looking prop I own.
