Hay Moore, thanks it means a lot and your suit was freaking sick, just ask the boys your suit is all I talked about. And to all the hunters who attended I can't thank you enough it was the most memorable comic con I think any of us will ever have. I didn't have a camera on Saturday but what is to come from Grayback will blow your minds just you wait till he gets home to edit it all.

I figured I'd hunt around the Net and see where we popped up.

About that interview at Sideshow, its kpbs I think.

Also, I think the Variety picture is of Moore, he's got the bronze dread rings and silver bio.... but the shoulder cannon in the pic is vertical, and the one I took of him upthread shows it more horizontal... wonder if it moves.

But then again, the shoulder bell matches his.

No one dressed in predator garb can cope in a crowded environment for very long without a support person by their side. Constantly examining the costume for any tears, and other problems. Not to mention keeping people's mits off the costume (especially the dreds) as well as the most important function of all-----drink gopher!

Glad you guys had help, they're indispensable! Hats off to Dave, Linda and everyone else who helped.

I have tons more to post. I will probobly post a lot more this coming weekend when I get home. Im in Baltimore again and heading home tomorrow. The amount of pics and vids is overwhelming. Almost 7GB of data is a bunch to go through. Damon and David, feel free to post what you like. You guys have copies of the stuff. We looked at the stuff for a couple of hours and didnt see it all. The coverage vid Greybak is gonna put together will be great!

Uncle Dave! Glad to see you man. If it wasnt for you Dave, I dont know what I would have done. You saved my many times. Thanks!

To all the support team, you guys made or hunt a success. Couldnt have done it without you guys and ladies. Thanks again!

I hope everyone involved had a good time. I hope I wasnt overbearing in trying to organize the hunt. Just wanted to help everyone if I could. Thanks to all who showed up in suit, as support, or just to take a pic. I had the BEST time I have had in years! Thanks to you all.

To put together a hunt like this requires a true Hunt Leader.... you showed courage and determination; not even strep throat kept you down!

If you will sign a model release, send me an e-mail via flickr or this board and I will send you a Web version and 8x10 printable versions of both images.
It's was hard to get releases at the Con as you guys where both swamped and wearing rather large gloves.

That Photograph is part of Comic Con 2008: A Photographic Journey into Fandom

That link also shows the camera rig used to take the photos. Laser targeting on the flash would have been handy but I don't think people would have liked it in the eyes.

Haha I just came back from sandiego today! Unfort5unatly i couldnt do the comic con

i was there for a baseball tournament but i couldnt stop thinking about it because the Vagabon hotel (where i stayed) kept passing out comic con transportation coupon things. And i saw a bunch of people at dennys wearing shirts and capes.
