Samurai Taisho Vader

Was wanting to do something for Star wars celebration next year, originally planned on going with Ralph McQuarries version of Vader but then saw the Tamashii Nations version and flipped out, i hasten to add that all pics should be thought of as Work In Progress since i got measurements wrong and wanted it ready to show for Glasgow Comic-con.
Built version 1 out of foam, once i`m happy that I`ve done Takeya`s design something approaching Justice planning on using Leather but heres some in progress shots:-
first test fit of mask and throat Guard
Planning out neck-guard, punching the holes (used 550 type Paracord for lacing)
Chest and thigh Armour (used Dremel and lost plot slightly so replaced parts with Foamboard, now using a Brass pipe to make holes in future...

Part2 of the thread:-
I seem to be missing some bits, i`ll scan them in later.
Managed to get a reasonably clear shot of the chest so made a paper template scanned it in then scaled /warped the photo to fit in photoshop 5.1

Dremelled the details through the paper onto the foam then went over it with my Heat gun and the rounded end of a Teaspoon, for the Blue and Red "Buttons" on the chestplate used clear rubber balls. One was already a translucent blue, the globe one I used a clear ball halved it and hollowed out then sprayed Red Plastikote into it.
The Saber was a sheet of A3 5mm thick Acrylic, made template using my own Metal Katana. Scavenged an old Hasbro hilt (will be making a proper hilt later), was running out of time because I was also doing Naruto in Sage Mode, Edward Elric (both for my son) and Also The Keeper from The Evil Within(for myself for day 2 of the con.
Now onto the important bit, TERRORISING PEOPLE AT GLASGOW (Scotland) Comic-con!!!!!!
