Sally costume

My daughter threw this costume together for a "Dress-like-your-favorite-Disney-Character-Day" at school last week. It is basically a muslin base dress made from the cheapest cloth with with painted patterns and applied painted patches to give the patch-work quilt look. She held off full makeup, but the scars and stitches worked pretty well. She used acrylic paint - it stayed on all day and came off pretty easily.

She wants to do the Corpse Bride next.

Thanks for the comments - she had fun with it. And, as predicted, she was almost the only one in costume. I guess it's pretty hard for HS students to take a chance at looking funny - the cool factor, you know.

Awesome that she's brave enough to go against the crowd. She makes a great Sally.

Good job, My wife is going as Sally this year for halloween. A misconception with Sally Makeup is she is she is blue. Her puppet is actually a fadded white with a light blue hue just in the face. The rest of her color is stage lighting.
