ah yes! awesome! i have seen this before..
i am making my suit out of foam floor mats as per usual, then wrapping the foam in faux leather, the hardy stuff car seats are made from. the i am using 5mm this foamx board, wrapping those in the 'leather' and gluing them down.

plus some artistic license thrown in...



anyway guys, here is where i will really stand out and show what i have to offer... ( ps this was just a mock up, not properly fitted)

does anyone else line the inside of their armors? remember you saw it here first!

i think if its form fitting you need to line it or it will scratch you to bits. an observation not criticism is the lining supposed to be mauve

The armor looks amazing! I've always wanted to make Saiyan Armor.
I love the ling, but if a camera catches you to the side or something and catches the underside, it might take away from the ensemble. Depending on how form fitting this is, it may never be an issue, but just a thought.

i'm puzzled as to what you see that would scratch....

some materials have folds/edges during construction even though every one puts great effort into the external look the internal area is not going to be seen. things like forearms masks leg pieces need a form of lining or things inevitably cause friction or ware on under suits/clothing
