Wasn't following here sorry.
We where mostly waiting for the run to be closer to shipping to enable the metal add-on purchase on our shop.
All our testing is done anyway, so we'll probably add the item beginning next week

Here is where we are at.

Still waiting on factory making the hilts to finish the anodizing, then masking and sand blasting of the main handles.

It took so many different methods and approaches to finally get them to agree to this but the results are epic and this is how the coloring will be.
Besides waiting on test fits for blades and chassis for the team helping me this has been the thing stalling plaguing the run the most.

Regarding everything else I was waiting on a 2 things

1)There was a small update Darth Ryo made to the chassis. So now submitting that to the vendor printing them for us in hp mjf pa12.
The adjusted file was given to me last week and I am waiting for a quote back from the vendor.

2)Regarding the blade pieces being sent to Devin to start assembling. Devin has finally got his workspace set up and has built a blade using the injection molded Poly carbonate pieces sent to him from a mold adjustment made.
The blade will be en route to Darth Ryo this week so he can test fit it.
Regardless I am having the factory start the mold pulls so they are ready to roll and be sent to Devin asap.

Will post with updates and updates on eta when those 3 things are relayed to me

Do you mean the general color scheme or is this the final look. IIRC you mentioned something about black chrome at some point. Was just curious about that.

Originally to get the two tone the factory manually removed the top black anodizing on the top of the raised areas on to expose raw alu.
Then we took that main grip piece and powder coated it trans black chrome.
We ran into two problems with this it made the main grip way glossier than rear of hilt.
Other issue is the factory was manually removing the black anodizing with polishing and it made surfaces uneven.

So we had them do this method which adds the texture we always wanted in the first place

We have been working on this with Guabe since September 2019 and are glad that it is finally wrapping up!

We did not rush this and decided to go with the details as seen on the season 2 version and have studied the references available to us.
There certainly is multiple version and we decided to take the aspects which represent this model the best.
The glossy shine and grip coloring is inspired by what we saw in Book of Boba Fett.

Install Kit will be included with all reserves.
Install kit will include the chassis to hold the electronics, the pcb set to connect the dark saber to the blade, and the switch pcb which will have 2 tactile switches and accent leds to illuminate the button as seen in the season 2 finale. The kit will NOT include a battery, speaker, soundboard. We will have links on where to source those and how to install them into this kit.
Switch and blade pcbs were designed by expert Saber engineer Dmitry Shtok of ShtokCustomWorx.
The chassis was designed by GOTH 3D DESIGN and crystal chamber parts will later be available on their shapeways store

THE BLADE
This hilt will not accept a standard blade. The Saber Trade has been working with us to provide a blade option! We are having one of our factories make the blade parts injection molded and SaberTrade is assembling the molded parts as the assembly has been something they have been working on for years now.
We will be offering The blade kits for $240. The kits will come with the require LED strip.
To assemble the blade kit will just require soldering 3 wires from the LED strip to the PCB. Then placing the PCB in the PCB holder and pushing it into the bottom of the blade.

Shipping to installer?
If you are having it shipped to a saber installer or shop you can let us know at anytime and we can change the shipping address.

Can I still reserve one?
For those who requested to be on the run prior to 2/11/22 you are guaranteed a place in the run for a price of $400 for hilt kit and $240 for the blade kit.

For those requesting after 2/11/22 you will be placed on a list for a small amount of remaining units and given a chance to purchase.
The cost will be $420 for the hilt kit and $240 for the blade.

That coloring looks SO GOOD, I hope it’s not just the lighting but the color is so much better than just silver/black.

This has been worth the wait for me so I’m excited to finally get to work on this.
