Hey everyone!
So Im building Yang's motorcycle called Bumblebee from the show by Rooster Teeth called RWBY.
I plan to get this done in time for RTX this year and I hope this build tops my build from last year. I have built one before, but I did it from scratch. Using 2x4 and pepakura I managed to make a decent bike.
The tires were made of EVA foam and pool noodles. The rims were build of plywood. Surprisingly the thing rolled pretty well, although very wobbly.
Now for this year I plan to do things different. This time I have gotten a motorcycle that I have taken apart so now its a rolling frame to use as a base. I plan to then create new fiberglass body panels on to the bike. Windshield will still be a trick to make but I will figure something out. This is where I am so far.
So you can see its just a rolling frame. Its gotten more cleaned up since. Ive put a new rim on it and got air in the tires. Brakes still work which will be handy. Now Im also kinda teasing the idea of getting this thing converted to be electric, just only make it fast enough to move a person, nothing fast.
I'll try and keep this updated as I move along with this build.
