These scopes look as good as the ones that were made 12 years ago,
however those had the light socket cast and used NOS front lens elements.

I paint the inside with heat cure flat black and the outside with heat cured semi-gloss

And this one has the bead blasting as well? I'm trying to figure our how that affects these parts. I get how it affects the flash hider finish, but not how it affects the scope.

Yes, this is what the full service looks like

The bead blasting cleans up the raw scope casting and pits the shiny surface of the machined parts promote better paint adhesion.

I took another read, and looking at my past ordering, I'm thinking it was an offer to buy the brass scope if you haven't already... like he just threw it out there... like if he had an extra couple mausers to unload.

I thought I made it pretty clear in the email that it was for a resin scope, for those that missed out on the brass scopes

M-19 Scopes – $26 for Black Resin or #(sic3)1 for Cold Cast Bronze - You will pay Vince directly for these. I still have a couple brass parts upgrade sets for these which include the Lenses, Lens Rings, Bolts and Light Socket for $72 per set.


I did explain That I have the brass upgrade parts but I thought it was pretty obvious that the scopes were resin.

I'm in the same boat... gotta figure out what I need for Han Bespin. I've lost track at this point, what goes on what anymore.... :lol

We don't really know whats on that side of Han's Bespin gun. (I don't think)

it looks like theres one (most likely) distributor ring on Luke's Bespin.

The Hoth has the Motor coil plate, set of pistons and a couple "fake" distributor rings made from motor coil plate casts.

If you go by the muppet blaster, then all three were supposed to have everything, but the live guns probably had the parts fall off. Hoth tried to replicate the distributor rings so we can assume they're supposed to be there.

I'm putting everything on my hoth and only one distributor ring on my luke blaster.
