Limited Run RUN CLOSED * DL-44 ESB Blaster Machined Parts Set * RUN CLOSED

Fezzlenuts already made plaques for this run and if you contact him he can print you one.

I think the shipping on the cases made them cost prohibitive but if you don't mind paying that cost Odiwan should be able to get you one from his European source

Now I think about it I did order a plaque already. :facepalm Just need to locate a blaster stand now.

I can make Display cases for blasters which look exactly like MR ones or I also have a cheaper alternative, if anybody would be interested jus pm me!

Regards,

Alberto

They have to finalize the parts, deburing, bead blasting, clean up and packing which will not be done till Monday

It is going to cost about $200 to have the scopes shipped to me and about $100 to ship the mausers to the shop.

Since it will not impact the time line I have decided to make the 8 hour round trip to the shop next Wednesday to deliver the mausers and pick up the scopes.

I should be able to start shipping kits that are not waiting on resin greeblies or Mausers by next week end.

I just came back to re-read the time it will take you to drive - and while I know its saving you money, I want you to know we appreciate the hard work you're putting in too. :)

Agreed, Thanks Boba :)

Greatly appreciated, David.

It's really nice to see that there are consistent, quality runs still happening on the RPF.

Thanks for your time and dedication for this pretty epic run. For what it's worth, while I haven't been on the boards all that long, this still isn't the longest I've waited for a run on something. Just eagerly anticipating the final invoice for finishing & shipping costs.

Looking fantastic!

As far as the greeblies go, I have the actual parts from the new Revell kit. It unfortunately doesn't come with the old parts. Where can I get just the other parts?

That's really cool of you to do all that driving to save us money, much appreciated. Also, tell the guys in the shop that we appreciate all the hard work they are doing too. It's getting so close.

Thanks I appreciate the kind words.

To be honest, I didn't account for the high cost of shipping so it's really saving me the money or the hassle of asking all of you to absorb it, Plus I want to check out the changes they have made to the shop.

Secondly, I am kind of nervous about shipping the scopes. It a couple hundred pounds of brass and if they got lost or stolen in shipping it would take at least 6-8 months to replace them.

Which parts do you specifically need - The Motor / Coil plate of the Distributor Retainers?

I just got back from shop run.

I delivered the Mausers to them and picked up the scopes and a bunch of extra parts

THE SCOPES LOOK AMAZING

I will get everything sorted out and start the shipping process for applicable kits this weekend.

I also had the shop make steel disks to replicate the idealized look of the details on the left and right side of the pistons. These are $4 a set and if you want a set I will add them to the finally invoice when I am ready to ship your kit.

Hear are images of Alberto’s MGC based Blaster to give everyone an idea of what they look like

I also have a TON of extra parts. I didn’t want to stick the shop with these so I got them while I was there.

I need to sell these parts to recoup the money I spent to cover them, so if you want any of the following parts read the appropriate threads and send me the requested info via email.

  • $45 - Bespin Flash Hiders

  • $72 – Resin M-19 *BRASS* Scope Upgrade Parts Set - Light Socket (Notched or Full Ring), Front Lens Ring, Rear Lens Ring, Scope Mounting Bolts & Clear Lens Set

The concept behind the Resin M-19 *BRASS* Scope Upgrade Parts Set is that you drill the resin scope body to accept the glass lenses and brass parts.

This may sound complicated but I am going to offer this service for an undetermined cost.

I’m sure I can do the labor for less the $25 so for less then $100 you can have a super nice Resin Scope.

I also plan to contact Vince and see if he can cast me some scopes in black resin which I will offer “as is” or modified with the upgrade kit.

Thanks

My friends, I have not been following this project very closely for several months. I'm not stranger to model building, but this is my first top tier prop and I don't want to mess it up. I ordered the ESB Bespin one if I remember correctly, has there been any new parts I should have ordered in the last 6-12 months? I'm so worried that when I get this prop in the mail I will be missing a part, due to not following the project closely enough.

I checked my records and you covered, just some misc parts that will be included with your final shipping payment.
