Rubies supreme darth vader costume bodysuit

Hi
I've searched but can't find the answer to my question.
I Have the rubies costume and I'm displaying it on a mannequin.
The bodysuit comes with holes to put the chestbox straps through. This makes the chestbox too low though. I have now put the straps over the top of the suit and am displaying it anh style. The chestbox now covers the top two holes but the bottom two slits are now visible.
Any idea how to hide these two holes? The surcoat is barely covering them at the moment. Should I attempt to sew them together? Or what about a fabric glue?

I used to use on on one of my Vaders, same problem. I don't think any fix would look good. Best way is to buy a separate leather or pleather 'wasitcoat' and add that to the setup.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've moved things around a bit and coverd the holes up with the chestbox again. I've lowered the belt and cod piece which has made things look a bit better. It's not perfect but he still looks damn good.

I used the Rubies suit with my Vader in a local costume club for at least a year or two. I sewed the holes together. I had a GT chestbox to begin with, then a fan made ACCURATE chest box where the buttons and everything were the right size. Both seemed to cover the holes nicely without anything being too high up or too low.
