Royal Guard Helmets

It's easy enough to modify a stock helmet after the fact to the Mandalorian style, and make new molds for them if there's a demand. And yes, a red gel coat is possible.

This could be an interesting project if done well. :thumbsup

I'm also only interested in OT RG style, though the KOTOR one looks mean. :)

Here's another pic of the Mando style helmet:

Depending on price, I might be interested in both a straight Royal Guard style helmet and a KOTOR style helmet.

I dont mind letting my DP get casted. Or used as a referance if its going to be hand sculpted. Either thing is cool with me. Ill be waiting for the final results to see if people are interested in a run of helmets. If it were up to me(and it isnt) Id offer the RG style in unfinished form so people can make either a Mandalore or an RG, and no matter what shade of red you think is right, theres always another guy that says its too bright or not bright enough, so you should be able to paint it yourself. Besides, half the fun in owning a prop is knowing you built at least part of it yourself right?

I'd be interested in a larger/more accurate IRG helmet. I wear a 7-3/4 hat so I would need something larger than what's out there. My wife wants to do one too, so depending on price I may grab 2 (or we can share :D )

The helmet currently under consideration appears to be a larger more accurate version. We need to sort out the details fo its origin, and if it's possible to recast it without stepping on any toes.

I just did some photo comparisons, and the helmet offered for casting seems to be a recast rubies helmet. So unless I hear otherwise, it's fair game for recasting.

Are Rubies offering RG helmets?

General, Don't worry about stepping on toes. I'd wear sandles & let you tap dance on my feet if it meant that you would get to work on this already. :p I can't wait to see what YOU could do with it. :thumbsup

That's my current plan.

Just for an idea are we talking sub-$200.00 helmets here or more
100.00-200.00? Just a rough range helps to figure intrest i think

Of course it will change a bit with production but an initial target price is nice to know

thanks if you can

I'd like to have the first pull to show before setting a price, so people can see what they'd be getting. Then people can measure the actual quality versus the current fair market value for such a piece.
