Royal Guard Force Pike

Hello. It's been a long time since I been logged on. Life Happening all around me.

I am wanting to make a force pike for my son to be a Royal Guard. I have found several ref. pix and there appears to be two. one that is more plain from ROTJ and a fancy version that must be from the new movies. I was wondering if anyone had any measurements on how long they feel it is? and it looks as though the ROTJ one is made from plumbing parts. There is a black rubber band on many of the Myth magic display pictures. I think that must be what holds it on to the dummies hand. But any info and pix you have would be very useful.

Thanks.

Greetings, These things are very close to me. Both would be canon. The rasp ones from ROTJ can be both silver or gold.

This is a prequel one

oh yeah the end looks so much like a flash light or one of those new solar powered yard lights.

On your grips did you wrap them with something? or is it molded that way?

They make them with 30" and 48" shafts. then paint it black put the rasp on the end of it use some of the black flexible wire guards from auto motive parts and place the greeblie for the button and you got it :)

I will go to bass pro and see if they feel the right size. Then I may take the end off and mold it for resin and make a one piece version for the end. the rasp end it looks like it was made by hand on the ROTJ version. that little spike part would be the most difficult. Maybe use sculpy and make one out if and mold it for resin?

Here is the boat light. Not sure how much ski pole was, but there are no ski poles in Southern MO with out paying a lot. This was from Bass Pro Cost $20. I wonder if I could some how use the wiring inside for something. Need to wire up a real stun gun on the end of the pike for crowd control at Vision Con. I like the o-ring and heat shrink tape. Thats a reall good idea. Now what to use for the rasp?

Sory for the pix being so big not sure why they ended up like that

Now I just need to attach the tip and paint the ends and place a button on it and it's done.

I like the idea of the heat shrink electrical tubing and the o rings. I may have to give that a try on my own force pike build.
