The MR reference has a long scratch on the circuit card that I can't see on the Azarian/Heritage.

I'm curious as to why they decided to make the bulb and bunny ears in resin rather than metal

Depends on use. So far i dont believe we have seen the original metal master for the ears on any prop?

I believe here they are metal, atleast the emitter

Interesting detail on the Azarian clamp. It looks like it's made from three separate components, with a diamond pattern nestled between two solid rings. Not sure I ever noticed that before.

They had a little cnc mill/cutter they were using to mill plastic into the more complex shapes for the props. I remember being enamored with it when they were showing off how they were building the Vader helmet out of small pieces, because the capacity was such a limited volume. Wasn’t strong enough to cut most metals.

We’re really spoiled these days.

Thats prety much the only way to make it because the edge diamonds are cut in half.
