Looking at that dark spot in the copper eye and the condition of both hilts, I think it is the Azerian after all
Why would you think there is an endcap? The originals were solid pieces with grooves machined into the grip by a lathe tool. Only replicas have end capsI don’t see any lip or seam line around the endcap! Even if it was threaded in you’d see the rim of the endcap itself
Looks VERY similar to the Azarian. However, I don't think it's the same since the marbling pattern on the glasseye button is a bit different than that of the Azarian, from what I can see. Could be a straight cast. And maybe, it's just the lighting but the reference that MR used looks to have actual copper buttons

Yep, makes sense. After zooming in and taking a closer look, it does look like the patterns match up
Oops, I guess we were too excited to notice that haha.
I still plan to tackle this. But it will be a static saber, with chromed resin parts, just like this one. And it will probably be limited to 30 or for pieces. It will probably follow after the QGJ runAnakin Starkiller Are there any updates regarding the Anakin? Just curious in general, don't mean to be annoying or anything
