Re: DC-15A Carbine Blaster , My first scratchbuild , DETAIL ADDED

It looks great. I would love for this to be my first Scratch Build. Thank you for the inspiration. You did a great job! I saw you went from pvc to PP. I'm sorry, I'm new to this. What is PP? Is it polymer pipe? Also, how did you get the blue prints? I would love to see more photos of yours when its done. Thak you!

Some more Pictures (still without the grip):

PP is Polypropylene, a sort of polyolefine like PE (Polyethylene).
Nothing will realy stuck on these plastic (paint, glue...).

To paint it i sanded it, heatet it, cleaned it with alcohol, primed it with special primer and then paint and glue.

That's a really nice scratch build. One very minor thing you can add are the white stripes on the front sight 'ears'. Some people misinterpret these as twisted wires in small photos but you can see it clearly here:

Thanks for advice

Think that the "twisted wire look" always seems to be somewhat weird.

How does the "display" on the magazine looks like? white and red?

The cone is part of the pipe, i saw it off at the red lines and put it vice versa on...

An excellent work, a question, I have the same templates of Sinclair, as you get to the correct scale print? , Greetings and thanks.

Re: UPDATE: DC-15 S Carbine Blaster , My first scratchbuild , Weathered / PIC-Heavy

i've scaled it down to 80% to fit my son

there is a ruler on the blueprint, cut out with photoshop, print, measure with a ruler and calculate to get the ratio to scale to get it 1:1
