Roma Plastilina Mask Sculpture

I am sculpting a Walrus Man mask out of Roma Plastilina clay, but am concerned that I have not made the sculpt big enough. I intended to make this a "slip cast" mold/mask and I really would hate to go in and detail the face, make the mold and find out the mask will end up being too small after the molding process is complete. Any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, first, why do you think it's too small? Did you start with a full size head or face to build it on? If not, just take some measurements using a real person such as yourself to base the location of features on, i.e, width of eyes, distance to mouth, relation to ears, etc. The finished mask will not have very much thickness, so I don't think that is as much concern as the "fit" to a head or face. Make sure your plaster mold is well dried before attempting the cast.

Thank you for the advice. I did a smaller slip cast mold and the final product was smaller than the original sculpt. I expect that this will likely happen to the full sized mask as well. I plan to stuff certain areas with foam to give it some rigidity. I am completely lost when it comes to the large black alien eyes this character had. I found some clear globes and I am wondering if they will fit into the mask after it is molded.
