Rocketeer Pack

Hi Guys,
I've noticed a certain thread on here about Rocketeer Packs and it got me thinking about getting a rocketeer pack to match my helmet and jacket.

I've checked out the MIM pack at $950ish and just wanted to know is it any good, much work involved, does it come with harness, etc?

Are there any members that make a similar kit, or know of a source for one?

The mim pack is known as the acme pack among finheads....

the acme pack is the best pack on the market. I highly recommend it. The pack does not come with a harness and it requires a lot of work. It is a time consuming process and sometimes takes a few months to complete. I know a member that completed it in one weekend, but he is a determine and professional prop maker. He has his own prop company called xtreme design fx. If your skills are beginner or mediocre, then I recommend finding help so you dont damage an expensive kit. Good to have watching hands nearby since the radiator and grills are delicate.

I wouldnt recommend buying it from MIM. I have the contact information of the acme maker, so when you are ready to buy then contact me for his information. Serious inquiries only. He is a busy person, and doesnt have time to be dragged along to have some-one bail on the purchase.....not saying you would do that, but many have in the past.

Well, there are cliques/ communities/ fan groups that come together to support a theme or movie. There are ghostbusters groups, star wars groups like the 501st, pirate of the Caribbean groups, ....the list goes on...

well, the rocketeer community is known as the finheads

nah, I purchase the helmets before I admitted I hit the wall. I thought it was too good of a deal to pass on, so I purchased 2. I wanted to fix one up for the old mannequin.



Plus, I guess the 20th anniversary special engagement is pretty exciting, so i will see what they are selling there
