Looks like a suit that would be made from pepkura templates using foam rubber... I like the design of the helmet... but the suit...

David you could make something that looks more metal... out of leather.

Just not WOWed by this first look.

But I recall feeling underwhelmed at the first ironman pics as well... the suit looked bulky and foam-rubbery in the first pic of him after being thrown throgh a semi trailer by Obediah in the fight scene. (if I recall correctly that was the first leaked pic of him in the suit?)

I dunno... The helmet looks ok, but it's too black in general. It kind of reminds me of the accelerator suits in G.I. Joe...

I'm hoping, like OldKen, that it looks better on screen.

I would have to imagine, given that the suit changes and transforms, that CGI will be employed to make it look more metal. Or just better. Not black rubber. I don't like what I see in these pics, but that suit might looks great in camera. I guess I wish they were trying to set a new trend instead of following them.

The suit isn't terrible, not what I was hoping for but not awful. The black is my biggest problem. Robocop needs to be shiney!

Wow thats pretty bad. It looks like a mix of Batman and GI Joe suits with a Daft Punk helmet.

I agree that the slim nature of the suit gives Robocop a more personal feel, but his 'walk' doesn't appear mechanical at all. The thought did occur to me that because the suit is black that there may be a remote chance that they are going to CGI somthing over the suit . Does anyone know if that's possible??

And seriously, how is there room at all in his right leg for that big Auto-9 that he's supposed to carry??!! If I had to give this a Pass or Fail rating just from the pics, I'd say fail.

If you look closely at the blown up version of this picture you can see an eye line that runs across the helmet like the original...but if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say he's looking down as he walks because he can't see crap with that on!! Someone should call in Levar Burton to school him on working in the dark!! LOL!!

Possible. But if they were going to do that he'd be wearing something with motion trackers on it.

If those are from the set that's the suit.
