Robocop Auto 9 Kits?

Having paid for one of Quarlos Lawgiver kits, to convert an airsoft beretta into Dredds Lawgiver, i was wondering if there are any kits available to turn a Beretta 93R into Robocops Auto 9?

I know you can buy both airsoft and PFC 93R, but dont know how much work is involved in converting it to the Auto 9.

Is it just a case of enclosing it again in an outer shell?

Anyone had a go at this, i'd certainly be interested in a kit if there is one available.

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

There is an airsoft version avaliable. (2 actually, one cheepo and one decent, decent one made by a company called KSC)

Problem is, I believe there discontinued, although i have seen them come up as in stock on some Airsoft shops (mainly the Hong Kong ones).

Also, being UK based we now have the VCR bill, in a nutshell you wont be able to import or buy unless your a registered airsoft skirmisher, filmmaker, reenactor or a museam. (sorry if you already knew this, but lots havent)

I got the Robocop KSC Airsoft gun just before they banned the import of them, very nice replica! I think got mine from Hong Kong for about £120 plus P&P. Damn this ban!!

Thanks guys, but im looking at a kit to convert an exiting airsoft.

Like the Quarlos kit to make a lawgiver. So not a finished item like the KSC

Thanks, this is where i actually saw it in the first place.

Might be worth asking, but the trouble with these sites is that the laws are very strict, as you know, and its nearly impossible to buy anything from them without being in a re-enactment group.

Just a question but why would you want to go through the hassle of a conversion kit when KSC already made a very nice fully working replica? It's discontinued but you can still find them.

Buying replica guns in the UK is very (legally) difficult nowadays, if however, he already has the base gun and just wants the conv parts they would be (legally) no problem to purchase.

Got a reply:

'Unfortunately the Auto 9s are built to order and we cannot just supply
parts.

We can only build these from guns supplied by ourselves and are only able to
supply UK customers who can supply VCR proof of legitimate purchase.'

Thats that then.

What i find quite funny is, its ok to buy one of these if you are a re-enactor....but how many re-enactors are going to be using a Auto 9? Robocop re-enactors?

There used to be a cheap toy (dart gun or something) that looked remarkably like the Robocop gun--possible source for parts. I don't know if it was 1:1 scale, though.

Is the KSC auto 9, 1:1 scale.

Is the base Beretta full size? I have the option to buy a KSC airsoft, and was thinking of using the parts on a pfc 93R.

Any ideas as to whether this would work?

Thanks

I have a KSC and it seems full size to me. The extended muzzle slots on and is secured by the 93Rs front grip hinge pin. There is a sleve that slides on the mag and sits at the bottom. The grip is is secured by the grip screws and a small x head screw. The extended top rear sight - not sure how this is fixed but think its from underneath entailing slide removal and stripping.

I had the KSC version, the Auto 9c with burst. I added some lead weight to the front of mine as it is sooo lightweight! Loved that gun. I may just have to grab another.
