Hi
I use LAELLEE robocop files to build Robocop armor. I did't change scale bcs I am 185cm but I think the chest part can be a little to big.
First step- paper work:sleep IMG_20130528_131135.jpgIMG_20130528_131144.jpgIMG_20130528_131113.jpg

Starting to shape up nice mate, was it hard to get the dome on top printed out? I looked at it yesterday and it looked like the dome was going to be printed over two pages?

I used about 10-12 pages to print the helmet but is 3 helmet bcs this one is in good size.. I don't build details from paper- for me it's better to make them myself .
Now I need to put bondo mixed with resin to hard the helmet.

Looks awesome! Be sure to get some plasti-dip or Resin for it to give it a smooth look.

Now I know this maybe more of a personal choice but I have been up in the air about which way to go, Foam or Paper. It looks a little easier with foam but doesn't look as detailed as paper. Hmm...just don't know.

yes..bcs when You make replicas from paper model you can add some bondo inside and outside. After that sanding and making details by dremel tools. Also painting is better but with papper model is a lot of work.. .. I must end of my last project (Thor helmet) and after that I will end this robocop helmet. I hate when paper model is to big or to small. A lot of time for nothink.... For example this robcop helmet is made 3 times until I made good one.
P.S. sorry form my english:p

Yep, the paper will give you the best detailing, but the suit has a lot of small stuff, like the details on the thighs and shoulders. I'm sure people can still get great detail out of foam though, with a bit of creativity. Looks great so far. And if it makes you feel better, I built 3 helmets too before i got mine right, and I'm the one who made the model!!! :lol

Some update
I try to make good shape of this two parts and after that I will separate jaw. I will connect jaw with ears- it will be one part-this part can be use to open the helmet.
