Road Warrior Weekend costumes (Mad Max) (mildly NSFW)

Here are a few pics I took at Road Warrior Weekend (Nov 20-22 2009) here in Southern California.
Lots of authentic and not so authentic (but still cool) wasteland costumes were on display. Feel free to add pics if you have them. I'll be putting up lots more later.
The first ones are from the tail end of our MFP photo shoot (I'm getting better shots soon). Later pics will show the whole group. We had more MFP officers than actually appeared in the movie.

I do not remember those ladies in the MFP :)

I would love to see more photos from this event, I will probably never get to go to one.

Re: Road Warrior Weekend costumes (Mad Max)

I'd like to see more of the two women in the 3rd pic! :love

Seriously- I love Mad Max! The suits and the vehicles look awesome! :thumbsup

I hope the above pic of the girls does not violate this boards code regarding nudity/sexuality. If it does please let me know and I'll remove ASAP.

By request, more pics of girls from the event can be found here:

I think you're ok. Might want to add a NSFW to the title if you're going to link it directly in the thread though.
Occasionally I check this board at my second job (a church).

Or else, link it as a http: and throw a NSFW right in front of that.

Otherwise, great costumes! The event looks really fun... I'd be tempted to actually start acting like I was a post apocalyptic leather clad survivor and start hijacking other peoples vehicles for gas.
I mean, hey...
At least I'd be SA right? :love

Re: Road Warrior Weekend costumes (Mad Max)

Just watched the movie again last night for the umpteenth time. If I lived closer to this event I would definitely don a post apocalypse outfit. Thanks for the pictures.

Re: Road Warrior Weekend costumes (Mad Max)

Good looking event there ( in more ways than one :love )

Amazing attention to detail there....Love it !

Re: Road Warrior Weekend costumes (Mad Max)

Love the last of the V8 Interceptors--but where was the Humongous--the lord Humongous--the Ayatullah of Rock -N -Rolla?

Re: Road Warrior Weekend costumes (Mad Max)

Hey all newbie here. Great picks, I am thinking of doing a steampunk style Max for fun. I know it won't be SA, but I tend to march to a strange and off the wall kind of drum.

Well known Mad Max fan Humvee Driver would have been there as Humongous, but unfortunately, his truck broke down just before his long drive from the midwest and he couldn't make it.
But you can see some great pics and video of him and his amazing replica Humongous machine if you look at pics/youtube videos from this past DragonCon.

What does it say about me that I wish they'd go away so I could get a better view of that beautiful car? :lol

Man, that event looks like a blast!

The girl on the right is Raven Black. She does pr0n. I much prefer the other one.

I went for a screen-accurate marauder and MFP officer, and built a reasonable facsimile of the demon bike. I've been waiting 30 years for a complete MFP uniform. :)
