RIP Stan Lee

I am adding my voice to chorus. His characters and their stories taught me a lot: to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, how your differences can define you in the best ways, how "family" can be defined many different ways, etc. I'm glad he has left so many stories by which we can remember him. May his legacy continue for many years to come.

I just saw on Yahoo, that Stan Lee has passed away at 95.
:(
Stan Lee, the man responsible for much of the Marvel Universe, has died.
RIP

Iconic voice/talent/person! Shaped a generation (if not several!)..

I know I personally woke up to cartoons narrated by his voice many a morning.

You'll be missed.

RIP sir.

Rest in Peace,Mr.Lee.You saved my life in highschool and many times over.
Your work is inspiring and never forgotten.Thank you for having been 'Stan'.
At last together again with your lady

This broke my heart. I actually cried this afternoon. Stan Lee was comics. My favorite was always Batman, but runner up was everything Stan Lee did... nobody had the volume of creative work he did. I hope he's happy where he is now... and still creating. Marvel would be nothing with out his work. A truly sad day for art and creativity.

When I was in grade school I related so much to Peter Parker. It taught me that the life of a studious geek could be full of virtue. And even if life seemed to dump on you every day you could still have the seeds of greatness. It meant a lot to me.

The world is truly a darker place with out his light. He had such an incredible impact on my life and the lives of uncountable others.I was close to tears whne I read about this at work. He made a rough childhood bearable and I owe so much of what I do now to his example. I am so glad that my son got to meet him, Stan was genuinely a good person, always had a smile on his face and gracious with his fans. Rest easy Stan "The Man" Lee, your legacy lives on. EXCELSIOR!!!
