I grew up watching his intros on the Marvel Action Hour, that's when Stan became "real" to me as a kid. The one thing everyone will always remember about him is his positive attitude, he was always excited and smiling.

Oh gosh, he was such a big part of my life as a kid. Rest easy Stan and thank you for the kickass childhood. Excelsior!

Man, this is a rough one. Nobody lives forever, but he came close!

I can't think of another person who completely represented their field like he did; there isn't one person who was the movies, music, books, sports, etc., but for most of the world Stan was comics. He was the best ambassador that field could have had. Look at where it started and what it is now. He had lots of help along the way by many, many talented and, unfortunately, forgotten people, nonetheless, a great portion of that industry's success is because of him. There will never be anyone like him again in that field. A guy like Lee comes once.

Rest easy, Stan. You did good and far better than most.

I remember going to conventions in the 80's and 90's where no one really sought him out. Glad he was able to get notoriety and fame later on due to the Marvel films.
