It was announced recently that Peggy Lipton died last Saturday of cancer.

She is most known for playing Norma Jennings in Twin Peaks. She might be known by an older generation mostly for The Mod Squad (1968-73), for which she won a Golden Globe.
She is also the mother of Rashida and Kidada Jones.
I didn't get around to seeing Twin Peaks season 3 until I binged it in the past few days, seeing the last episode the other night. It brought tears to my eyes to watch those actors whom I knew had passed away only in the past few years, and which must probably have been ill already during filming: Catherine Coulson (The Log Lady), Miguel Ferrer ("I apologise in advance for" Albert) and Harry Dean Stanton. And the next morning I read that Peggy Lipton had died too... *sigh*
