RIP: Jack Larson, TVs original Jimmy Olsen

Jack Larson, who played Jimmy Olsen to George Reeve's Superman in the old TV show, has passed at 87. Frankly, I would have bet that this guy met his maker years ago, but no. A good long life.

Oddly, some cable station I just got ran some of these old Supes episodes over the weekend, so I just saw this guy after a lapse of god knows how long.

Loved him in that role, He defined Jimmy Olsen for me!

I agree. He pretty much created the character for film and movies.

Last time I saw him he played the bartender in Superman Returns.
