RIP Garry Marshall

I listened to his autobiography, My Happy Days in Hollywood, when it came out. Interesting guy. When he got into TV, he was writing almost all the popular shows at the same time under different names (a contract thing). Truly remarkable.

Adios, Gary.

Very sad. I can sum up my childhood TV viewing with three names: Glen A Larson, Stephen J Cannell... and Garry Marshall.

RIP Mr. Marshall. Thank you for all of those Happy Days.

Now with him gone the afterlife is the only place to see interesting tv shows. He with the guys Edraven mentioned pretty much made tv for generations to grow up on. Even in the 80s Happy Days was on every week night after school and after cartoons.

Loved watching him as the head of the network on Murphy Brown...He was great. That's when i learned he was the producer on Happy Days, LS, etc...that i was still watching live or in reruns at the time. :)

yeah same as everyone else I watched happy days all the time growing up. even when the fonz jumped the shark.... r.i.p. garry, condolences to penny also... sorry for your loss :cry
