RIP Edward Herrmann at 71

I first remember him from a M*A*S*H* episode, playing a cool-as-a-cucumber replacement surgeon who snaps during a busy surgery session. PTSD before that term was coined...

RIP.

Saw him on stage in London with no less than Alec Guinness in A Walk in the Woods. It didn't suck.

He also was one of the all-time gods of audio-book readers.

Always liked him. Sorry to see him go.
