RIP Director William Friedkin

Outstanding Director, The French Connection, The Exorcist, To Live, and Die, in L.A., ALL one of a kind brillant films

Great director! Never had the pleasure of seeing The Exorcist, but having seen it, I consider it a masterpiece of filmmaking! The greatest horror film of all time…IMHO…but also one of the greatest films of all time!

Of course I loved The French Connection as well, but my heart belongs to the Exorcist.

RIP MR. Friedkin. thank you for great cinema.

Love, love, love his work. Even his later, smaller films (Bug, Killer Joe) I really appreciate. If I can say one thing though, I want to have a cut of Sorcerer that cuts out all the background stuff at the beginning with our leads. It's all unnecessary; it's why the original film didn't have it. Just jump into it like the original Wages of Fear and it would've surpassed the original film on that and Tangerine Dream's strength alone.
