Those would be cool! The Tribe is having a 80's night soon and Bob Ucker is throwing out the first pitch! Those glasses would be sweet! I'm keeping an eye out for this one!

Honestly, to me they look like old US military issued birth control glasses with maybe, I dunno, those little "heavy metal" style hat/shirt pins stuck on 'em...

I think the design is even more stylish than BCG's. Man I hated wearing those things.

They look like a wayfarer style sunglass. The thing to look for are the 3 rivits on each side holding on the hinge for the arm, the skull on the bridge looks like it could be imbelishments added on later. I can't make out what's on the arms, maybe little swords????

Shuron Sidewinders are pretty close. Still trying to find a set with the 3 silver rivets.

not bad but too expensive i think the best bet would be the wayferer style glasses remove the 2 silver pieces on both sides and just put the 3 rivets there somehow.I would like to find some good accurate skull/bones for the center also.

Yeah, I figured. Anyway, I did a little more research and the style seems to be from a company called Tart Optical and it's their FDR style. They've been out of business for decades but can still be had. There is a newer company making a similar glass under the Tart FDR name but it has a keyhole bridge which is incorrect. The Moscot is the closest new glass I've found. It seems originals aren't that hard to locate but they're nearly as much as the Moscots. You might try keeping an eye on ebay for the Tart FDRs as I've seen them a bit cheaper. Not sure how much you want to spend but these vintage glasses can be found in antique stores, etc if you look hard enough.

I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is a sword or just the standard arrow design found on Persol, who makes the wayfarer...

Pretty sure those are just glued on decorations, especially the way they're sticking out of the top and bottom of the temple.

Also, Persol doesn't make the Wayfarer, but they are owned by Luxottica, who also owns Ray Ban. Either way, they've never made trim that large.
