thought I'd share a small project I worked on during lockdown times - Rey's saber form the ending scene in Rise of Skywalker.
I somehow really liked the design and opening mechanism, and wanted to recreate the model in a functional way.
The prototype is printed, and the parts fit quite good. But before actually working I have to paint the entire saber in order to be able to lube everything.
It'll now still take some time until I will be able to work on it a bit more, since I still have an open run. The workshops in Austria reopened so I can finally continue to finish the run. But I'm looking forward to contiune working on this one as well.
