Revolution

Nope, God did it. After all he is the only one that can compleaty undo the laws of physics and flip the switch to off.

Well it's not just EMPs. They emphasize that it's not just electricity when they talk about it. I'm sure there will be a revealed reason to it all. We just might hate it when they do.

I can't do screen caps, but did anyone else notice the schematic/design on the desk, beside the computer that Grace was working on? Seemed to either be a red herring as to what was causing the problem or an Easter egg as to the final solution.

Well there was a book on her desk with the 'power button' logo. Didn't see the schematic you are talking about though.

i will watch one more episode, as i have a general 3 episodes rule before i decide to watch or dont.

so far, im pretty unimpressed. I dont think the girl is a good actor, the emotional scene where she talked about her brother was horrible to watch.
I just cant buy into it, because we know, they can make fire, we know they can cook with the fire, and we know that mechanics work.

with that knowledge and 15 years time, noone ever did any mechanical engineering with steam etc? thats impossible to believe.
this show seems more about drama than the actual happening. not impressed so far

also, i still think that miles looks like richard dean anderson

I agree, but we've only seen 2 episodes. I'm going to give it a little more because we've only seen the small area outside Chicago. There's no telling how other areas have developed. If there are other areas that aren't too good for farming, they may have had to develop some kind of a more industrial survival plan for trading purposes.

My thoughts have been that these groups are only developing to the point where they're surviving. Not a lot of time or energy unless you're trying to expand your power. Just how I'm looking at the whole show.

I just caught ep. 2 last night and thought it was okay, not great but not bad either. I'm going to give the show a few more episodes and see how it develops before I make a final decision on whether I want to watch the whole season or not. Right now I'm trying to get over that there are an awful lot of people who are really handy with a sword, seems to me that they're a lot handier than they really ought to be but I suppose that you could get pretty good after a few years of dedicated practice although I don't know where they'd find instructors in the first place.

Episode 3 summary....

In conclusion...

I hope Charlie dies in episode 4. Her perfect world and pitchy whiney shminey voice annoys the hell out of me and I want to hit her over and over.

Edit: damn just looked at IMDb and she's in 6 episodes. :(

Just seems like so much has happened in the 3 shows, that could have been dragged out a lot longer. I like the show, but just seems like it wasn't made to last long.

I think I like it. Kinda like a Road warior meets Highlander meets walking dead (but without the zombies) kinda show

Dies? Hell, the show is about her. She is the main story right now. Not Miles or the Militia. They all so far are just keys to advance Charlies story.... The only other real story IMO is the comic relief guy and the blonde woman. As annoying as that guy is, his story is going to play a major part in the story as a whole.

But that isn't to say I don't agree w/you. She really irritated me last night. She has been irritating the whole time. Cute, but irritating. She says stupid things, she has this fake teenage angst, and makes poor decisions not because they need to be made, but to draw the story out. There was no reason to stick around and "Help" last night. Hell, for 2 episodes, this girl has only had 1 GOAL IN MIND. But all of a sudden, she meets a random woman and her whole goal is just put on the back burner. Because. Because Miles said something that made no sense to her one episode ago, she now throws that back in his face only to prolong the story or introduce new characters instead of just advancing the story. When she said they were staying last night, I wanted to turn off the tv. It is just poor writing to draw the story along slowly.

Again, I cannot stress enough, this girl's only goal in life was to watch after her brother. They made that VERY CLEAR. But now we are just supposed to believe that that is all thrown out? Just silly IMHO. The show is not bad so far, I don't love it, but I will watch the rest of the season. But that really grinded my gears last night.
