Greetings members!
Following another great Supernova convention in Sydney Australia, and following several beverages, a Southern Cross Garrison Bith band has been formed! Exciting times..
I will be documenting my Omni Box build here and it will be based on the few screen shots available, a side show collectible version and this great interview footage from facetube. The relevant discussion points at 6:59, 12:07, and 35:41.

As mentioned in this footage the parts for the Omni box are from a cooking supplies store so that is a good start for materials.
I plan to build it so that it all stacks neatly into the stool that i will be sitting on. Blue tooth speaker will also be used for the Jizz beats.

Ok, so the first Op shop i walk into has my baking pan with matching lid-for $4. Winning.
Got a couple of metal bowls for the top. One has a better shape than the other so i will be using the "longer" one and not the dome one.
Below is a screen capture that i have turned up the brightness on to reveal a lot more detail.

Iv been gathering bits and pieces. I bought an aluminium chair leg from the hardware store. Screw in base and the top can be cut to size also with a screw in fitting. I will sleeve the vacuum cleaner pipe over this chair leg. Deep frying ladle for the top which i will chop to size. A spring for the peddles and a couple of plastic caps for the front knobs. For the top nobs i will custom make my own as they are quite clear in screen shots and i cannot find anything off the shelf to match.

Thought i would try to scale up this thing to get some sort of accuracy. I will do a scale drawing this week.

I cast some knobs from my kids drink bottle. Basic resin mix with a bolt inserted so i can attach them through the baking tray.

Next i started to cut the groves (twenty in total) in the baking tray. What a battle. This steel is tough. I resorted to a grinding disk but have scorched the steel. It should buff out-fingers crossed..

Got the scale drawing completed today. I think it looks reasonably proportionate...

I was not quite happy with the knob castings as they clearly have a slight depression on the top looking at the screen shot. So a drilled out a slight depression and i think these are much better.
