OK so I have been working on this guy for about 2 years now.

To give a little background on this piece, He is a Distortions Lifesize Alien/Xenomorph/bug. He stand around 7 feet tall and is the gem of my collection. I first saw one of these at Six Flags in Chicago back around 1992 or 93 and wanted one ever since. Now fast forward to about two years ago around November. While hunting through the Junkyard Acid Burn had one for sale, and in my price range! Now before you could say "Colonial Marine" I had him bought and paid for. Now after working on him off and on I am proud to say he is at 90% restored! I still have some fixing to do but I am very happy to have this dream come true. Once again thank you Acid Burn.:thumbsup

I remember seeing one of these at a Sharper Image in downtown Minneapolis years and years ago when I was a kid. Way awesome.

Still a few areas that need patching and I need to work on the base some more. He really is coming along splendidly.

That is cool. The creature from the original ALIEN is still one of the most terrifying movie creatures IMO. I got to see one in a video store once. There was a sign "If you have any complaints, talk to management" and an arrow pointing to the beast in the corner. It looked to be about 7 feet tall as well and seemed to be made from fibre glass.

I purchased one from a garage sale but the body isnt painted only the head, hands, and feet. Was this how they were sold? How much is worth?
