I've been researching, identifying, and recreating Star Wars fonts for a while, and I wanted to share some of the progress I've made.

TIE Fighter Targeting Computer

The TIE Fighter targeting computers use a typeface called "Chariot." Some of the letters are rotated 180 degrees, but it's a perfect match for the letters and numerals seen in the film. The only problem is nobody ever took the time to digitize the font. So I took the liberty of making two versions, one that stays true to the original design and one that includes the flipped and altered numbers used on screen. This digitized typeface is called "Sienar AF," named for the manufacturer of the Imperial TIE Fighters. It is free for personal, non-commercial use through my type foundry AurekFonts: Sienar

"Sienar AF" was created and released in conjunction with EC Henry's video on the subject:

Anyway, I hope this is helpful. Let me know if you have any questions or comments, and please reply here with any projects you make using "Sienar AF"!
