Resizing Master Replica rings

Does anyone know if it's possible to re-size Master Replica rings i.e through a roller stretcher or other means ?

I have a number of Jack Sparrow rings but they are all the same size so won't fit on different fingers.

I know it's possible to resize gold and silver rings as they are more malleable but am afraid that the replica ones might snap due to brittle metal.

Many Thanks

Ahoy, mate. I had the same problem with the Master Replicas "Button Ring". It was a size or two too big and would spin around on my finger if not fall off. The metal the M.R. rings are made of will break if you try to stretch it, but not before the "gold" layer begins to flake off. I used a dremel tool with a metal-cutting disc to cut a small piece (about 1/4 inch) of the ring band away. Once that was done I used the same tool to grind away any sharp points and edges. Thereafter, the band can be easily bent to fit. I used a resin to fill-in the gap in the band and used a superfine grit sandpaper to polish the band smooth. A coat of gold leaf and some clear coat nail-polish hid the modification. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Ahoy!

Thanks for the advice.

That's exactly what I was concerned about. Your technique sounds like a good way to go.

I've got all 4 rings so looks like I'm gonna be busy. I've got some really good putty (looks like PlayDoh) which I've used for metal repairs in the past, so I just need to get hold of some gold leaf.

If you've got any pics of your finished items I'd be interested in seeing them.
