okay got a question. I have this resin part ive tried to prime twice now but when I come back to the part its almost like something liquid has risen from the resin what can I do?? ive cleaned the part twice now in thinner....

You may be able to repair the piece. If it's uncured resin causing the it to weep, place the part in hot water, like hot water in your bathtub or sink and make sure the piece is at the bottom of the water. You can add some boiling water to the tub, just not too hot that it would warp the resin piece. Weigh it down if you have to. Keep the part in the water till the water cools down. There may now be some white, chalky stuff on the surface of the piece. Wash and scrub it off with some dish detergent thoroughly. Rinse and let dry. If its uncured resin, then this process may fix the problem. This should work if the piece is a bare piece of resin. With paint on it, I'm not sure how well it will work but its worth a try since its the heat penetrating the resin that fixes the issue and paint shouldn't interfere with that. Good luck!

I may try that next. ive heard that if you bake the piece that that may help too so thats what I did. it caught on fire a few times but a lot of stuff bubbled out the top. I have a coat of primer on it now and ill be checking it in a half hour too see what its doing. ill post some pics if it works, otherwise ive already contacted the maker so far he has had great customer service and I bet he will take care of me
