I would never add food colour.

Odd of course I use the Generic branded stuff so the price maybe down to quality, but I can fully understand why you would not use it. At least it seems we agree on pen ink, since it doesn't take much to get the desired color I find a few cheap Bic pens will do great for quite a few casts. Again that is just me since I am eccentric as we all already know.
