Cool. I think she's more stoked about this than anyone else. :)

Maybe...

;)

There are hundreds of pics from 3 days of trooping. I am really surprised that so few have been posted yet. Ours will be up within the next week on the Polymer Armory website.

Hey DarkTrooper

I just posted over at CT.net
I don´t see my name on the official list, but afaik I was one of the first customers to order a full set of armor ( actually THREE sets).

I spoke to Baron about it and he wanted to put me on the list.

Markus

Is there already an official list? Prices? Based on the last post it would seem so. I never even saw a price on anything, I have been following the thread since the first post, but maybe I missed something. It wouldn't be the first time :D
For the record (as always depending on price) I am interested in a helmet kit. ;)

Additional informations can be found over at clonetroopers.net.

$200 for a trimmed helmet +
$700 for a set of armor

I have a request

Would it be possible to get a picture or pictures of the RC armor kit
un-assembled,

Just so many of us can see what we may be getting in to

Thanks

The $700 for a set of armor (without the helmet) is still a speculation from what I have seen. This has neither been confirmed nor denied by DT or PA. Specifically DT said that he still needed to talk to the others, but IF they decided to do it $700 sounded about right, but he wouldn't have an answer on if or how much until he checked.

We are taking a short break after the work overload of the last 6 months. We will be putting together a comprehensive assembly instruction book that will include pics like that. Once we have them, I will post them.

WHOA.... You guys look awesome :eek

Is it just me or did you guys trim your upper leg armor a bit too short?
No offense intended, but I´m interested to know if it COULD be longer (is the mold set up this way?) or if it comes this way.

Know what I mean? A pic of an untrimmed leg-armor vs. your trimmed set would be great, thanks in advance.

Awwww yeah. :D Thanks for the cool closeup of my bloody melon. :lol I love that paint mixture. Drips and all.......

When I got home, I stripped out all the innards, and fiberglassed the interior all to hell. Lowered my obscured blue visor light, too. Now, with the batteries and all, it weighs a sweet 6 pounds. Migraines baby. Yeah. :D

Hey, Markus. ;)
Sure, they're trimmed short. Try climbing the Hyatt stairs without trimming that much. You'll notice, mine aren't trimmed nearly as much as Eroc's (Boss). Yeah, I got pinched. Guess what I'm doing this weekend?

Ehhhh............Nuthin fancy. Just a couple 9v running two squirrel cage fans, another 9v and resistor running the spotlight, and the AA pack running the blue visor wire. Toggle switches on those first two (held in place with hot glue), built-in slide switch on the other. The interior's painted flat black, with velcro attachments for everything, including about three extra 9volts. And a big foam "starburst" shaped pad in the top for to sit on my fat head. A little busier than most of my helmets, actually.

3x9V blocks PLUS an AAA pack, now I know where the weigth comes from :lol

I have to bug you some more ;)...
What about the lit numbers on the back and the undersuit (esp. the chest and neck area with the trapezoids and the ribbing)...pics? :D

Did you build the DC17 by yourseld or are these Talon´s work?

Can´t wait to start my RC ;) (even if I´m still unsure about the paintjob :unsure)
