Watching the Superbowl last made me wonder if anyone has ever made any replica awards?

Stanley Cup

or maybe even an Oscar or an Emmy

I did a search before posting this topic and didn't see anything. Sorry, I stopped looking on page 3 of the search results. Did another search and of course came up with a small topic on page 6 of the search results.

Now that I have heard it is tabu, that kinda makes me want one more.

Isn't the big issue with the academy award that they continue to own the award even after the recipients death..? A friend of mine has two Tony awards and I think he mentioned something along those lines for that award as well.

On a side note, I was just talking to my wife about having a fake Oscar or world series trophy on the mantle...

If you really want an "Oscar" without winning one buy one of those cheap plastic ones that only look real when seen out of the corner of your eye and then put it in a very dimly lit place.

Personally the only award I have that I haven't won is my medal of Yavin. Though I swear I fired the shot that destroyed the Death Star...
