Hey Replica Prop Forum,

I am a commercial photographer (usually working for clients like Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, and Universal Records) working on a cool new photo series on people that build and wear tv & movie replica costumes. It started as a series on people that build and drive tv and movie cars, but I wanted to expand the series to all people that replicate their favorite characters in the movies they love. I am a big movie buff and this series is a work of passion. If I was handy enough, I would definitely build my own Robocop suit.

I travel all over the country for my regular pay shoots so I can come to you most likely. The shoot would be for free, obviously, and you would be supplied some cool images to have and keep.

That's awesome. Do you have any pics of Barricade or of Darth Vader in your collection? I'd like to use them as references in my drawings that I'm working on. Nice work! The shots are really like you're there in the action.

If traveling means Toronto, Canada as well then we should talk. I have a product photo shoot coming up in the near future....that looks like it could be right up your alley.....

That sounds fun! I would love something like that for my Who costumes which will have all new ones come Spring! I am near Toronto too though.

Great portfolio site. Extremely clean and easy to navigate, which is key! Nice work! I would love to do something like this, but live in Canada in Ontario.

Are you looking for actual people inside the costumes, or can a full display work as well.

Here's a link to my personal gallery. All the costumes in this gallery are displayed on custom posable mannequins.
My photography is horrible. I'd love to have them shot professionally.

As a thought, you might want to consider setting up something around one of the big conventions, such as San Diego Comic Con, DragonCon, or Celebration V. I'm sure you could get a plethora of people at those cons (and others as well)

i mean i was there for comicon this year, but I want to do specific setup portraits of each person, rather than i big bulk shoot or group photos.
