I've been looking for some LOTR pipes, in particular Striders, but those there look like they are missing something. Isn't that one suppose to have like a small greeblie at the base of the bowl?

Very expensive, but AFAIK they are the only licensed functional LOTR pipes.

I did not want to start a new thread with the same topic so I decided to revive this one.
I'm searching for a good and smokeable pipe similar to those from Lord of the Rings with a wooden stem. It should look like either Gandalf's of Aragorn's pipe. It should be possible to use a filter with the pipe.
I know Vauen makes licensed replicas but I don't want to spent so much money on a pipe. And I already found the MacQueen's pipes but the got very mixed reviews about their pipes ranging from good pipe to not worth the money.

Has anyone an idea?!?

They make real nice pipes but it's not exactly what I'm lookin for. I found many nice looking pipe bowels that match what I'm looking for but all of them have the acryl or ebonit stem instead of a wood stem. The price is good especially compared to up to 200$ for a Vauen LOTR pipe.

There you are absolutely right! But I think the price for the Vauen LOTR pipes is still way to high because of the license stuff.
