Repair work on an MR TOS P1

I picked up a MR TOS Phaser 1. It's got an issue or two that're beyond my abilities to fix. Instead of three different setting sounds and light patterns it sort of does one. I've opened it up and the contacts and leads are clean and making good contact and don't look any different than the comparison photos a fellow member sent me.

Does anyone do repairs on these things? I'm stuck in a dead end on this.
