Reliquiary kickstarter - Serenity bank notes

I hope this doesn't sound negative, but it sounds like a bunch of props are going to be destroyed so people can have pieces. I guess there is a market for that. Interesting idea.

Everyone has to do what is right for them, but my interest is in entire objects not just bits and pieces.

Edit -- sorry for replying before looking more closely as I didn't see the entire bank note at first. The bank note is neat. A shame how much work goes into making stuff like that in shows and movies and it never really gets seen.

I don't think I could deal with shredded notes, especially not ones that pretty!
And I agree, it's the reason I didn't get behind the main project but most of it seems to be swatches and test pieces rather than complete - immaculate costumes getting shredded.
I remember as a kid a lot of trading card series having 'fabric cards' or something similar with costume swatches glued in to them, guess this is a step up...
Can't see it making its way to getting funded, shame though - would have loved one of these

It's kind of a cool idea, especially for props that you couldn't afford or just wouldn't buy (like I'm a big Kaylee fan, but what would I do with her shirt??). Though what you're getting (tiny swactches) and the pledge amounts they're asking for just doesn't seem to add up imo. Like the heist notes for example, for roughly the same price you can get a nicely framed version off Propstore, or for a fraction of the cost just get the note itself and display it however you want. I almost did myself during their last holiday sale...but it wasn't something i "needed" so I passed.
