I just pulled a latex mask from a mold, and there are some thin spots in the latex I'm worried about holding up to wear.

Any methods for thickening or reinforcing those thin spots?

Maybe more liquid latex with some cheesecloth kinda like a fiberglass layup?

While the mask is still in the mold you can reinforce it with burlap or paper towels by saturating them with latex after you put them in the thin spot. You can also brush in s very thing layer of polyfoam.

Also did you deal your mask with crystal clear when molding it? If so scrub the mold with acetone to clean it off and that should help.
