Registration keys...ummm whoops

I can't be the first one to forget to make registration keys in my ultra cal 2 part mold due to rushing with a quick coming deadline....right?

Fortunately I only made the front half so I still have to make the back. Is there any clever ways to add the keys to the front half? Or just sort of sculpt ultra cal onto the walls ?

*Admins, my apologies if this belongs in a different thread. I hope this can be moved it there's a more appropriate one*

You can try cutting in conical or pyramidal registration keys with an x-acto knife.

That's what I would do. If you have one of those metal sculpting tools that look like a curled leaf with a cutting edge (hard to describe), you could use it to scoop out a half round indentation or something.

I haven't done this in a while, but I've done it multiple times with RTV.

These might work...dowel pins. Any good hardware store should have them
