I stumbled upon an old man wearing these in public, so I had to ask him where he got them.
Montgomery Ward in the mid 80s. He wore them to work but everyone kept teasing him about his "moon walkers" so he put them back in the box and hadn't touched them in over 30 years. Then about 2 years ago started wearing them every day.

Kinda a big "ooof" there.

They say "Panther" and not "Reebok", so I wonder if these are original Reeboks, or were a knock-off or what not? Does anybody know?

Also, what would they be worth? If anyone has an idea?

After I told the guy that they were used in the movie ALIENS by Ripley and Bishop, and that they had a collector's value if he sold them new or slightly used, he was heart broken. Even though he was on a laptop at the time, he refused to look up the shoes online, but said that he's seen the movie, loved Ripley as a badass female, but didn't put the connection together that she wore those shoes. He then offered to sell the shoes to me, so he could go buy a pair of new shoes at ROSS.
