Red Robin (pre 52) cowl help, please!

So I am putting together this costume but the last remaining piece is becoming a hassle for me. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions or information on how to make his cowl or where to buy or commission one. Thanks for your time and help. I am making this costume for a charity group so I really wanna impress the kids, haha.

I think it depends on how quick do you need the cowl and how much your willing to spend?

I would personally try sculpting and molding....and casting a 2 piece cowl

Or I'm sure you could probably find one casted in silicone

(Thinking purely about neck mobility lol)

Another member is constructing it using Pepakura, modifying a Batman cowl. You can see his progress here.

If money is not too big of a concern, you may want to consider commissioning it. The commissioner could probably do a run of it (once yours is completed) since it is not a common cowl, which would likely lower the cost to you, and you would be getting a professional piece. Perhaps check out the "Want To Buy" forum if you would like to explore that option.
