Nice piece Orange Blend. Is it latex? I used to have a production made Series 7 ot 8 Kryten (sold it) but would like to see one in resin.

I started a Kryten costume last year but due to work I had to put it on hold... I'll get back to it eventually!! I'll upload some pics when I get home from work!
I sculpted the head on a plastercast of my head then made a mold for it so it just needs to be molded into a mask. The bits for the body are all done too but they need stuck together and then painted.
I REALLY wanna get back to it but I've started an IM and wanna get that finished first...

Yep. It's latex. I've been thinking about how I'm going to preserve it as I know it will eventually die.
Is there a way to pull a mold off of latex without hurting the original or messing up the signatures? I wouldn't mind making myself one out of silicone or resin for when this dies just so I have something.
Looking forward to it! I'd love to dress up like someone from RD but I only have about 3 friends that would get it. :lol
I dont know much about molding latex but maybe have it laser scanned?
Not the worst idea. I'd have to find a place in the Toronto area that does it.
Either way, that's a long way down the road, right now he sits in a cool dimly lit room and I dust him frequently. Hoping to get many many years out of this guy!

On of the few screen used props I've worked on was the starbug smart car from the last series . Mr Naylor dropped it off himself to us and spent the best part of a day hanging round our workshop
