Red book of Westmarch

Hi all.
I'd like to put togheter a little team of people who want (like me) create a personal\new version of the Red Book of Westmarch.
I really love the work of Indy and the Lotrguide guys, i think it's better than the screen used one. But i also love seeing ideas coming out of my hand...

So, is anyone interested? Unfortunately i'm not english\american and i don't think my english is quite good to do this job completely alone, but i can try to be helpful.

this doesn't want to be an Indy Magnoli recasting, but a completely different and shared job (i dont want to sell anything, just sharing our skills). The book will look different for each one of us, in this thread I'd like to produce only the content (text\drawings) and then proceed to printing, writing, sharing the result.

im assuming he was a sockpuppet or similar. he also accused me via pm of recasting. im not gonna go into detail here, tho. there probably was a good reason.

as he is not listed in the ban log, this makes me think its sockpuppeting, as they dont allways update sockpuppets.

As much as myself and many hear would love that it is never going to happen. His work is highly sought after and is available for sale at times, through him.

Drop him a PM if you haven't already. But his work should never be made available in such a way. It would cheapen it.

And so I save my pennies and wait.

well, theres a problem there. not that i am saying it is like this, but this is a possibility (and has happened quite a few times allready) but people are not honest.
you might say that its for personal use only, but who can guarantee that it doesnt end up on ebay etc?
especially with new members with few posts and zero transaction history.
i just had a member use my reference file and he just traced it and gave out the file without my permission.
so i can tell you, even tho your probably honest, noone can ever be sure, therefor i dont see anyone giving these files out.

If you pay a lot of money for that great work like the Red book of westmarch from Magnoli, you will understand why no one would share fro free...

you're right... Probably I do not need the entire text, just the chapter's division... It's quite hard to use the original text (names are different too), but not impossible, i'll try to get the orderr\numbers\summary content of the chapters and try to rewrite themm all by myself. Or perhaps with someone is here...

Try this site ' thainsbook.net ' it has a breakup of books and page numbers. Hope it helps.
